Week 10 is upon us, and we have another four-team bye week as we’re getting over the hump of the half-way point. Some injuries to keep an eye on as we head into the week.

Trends are becoming the norm, and the data is stabilizing. As is the case with IDP, there’s variance. We’ve got four teams on bye this week; Bengals, Cowboys, Chiefs, and Titans. So plan accordingly for your IDPs.

Want my latest green dot report and full IDP projections? You can grab them over at The IDP Show.

As always, the goal here is simple: give you the context, insights, and matchup trends you need to set your lineups with confidence.

I won’t go too deep on cornerbacks in this one, but if you’re craving matchup-level analysis, check out The Cornerback Corner.

Alright, enough preamble. Let’s dive into the Week 10 matchups.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Denver Broncos

  • Maxx Crosby is the only Raiders defensive linemen I’m considering from the Raiders this week. Crosby is one of those matchup proof DLs. I do think he has the better matchup opposite Mike McGlinchey, who has a 64.4 pass block grade. Despite the grade, he has yet to allow a sack, but has allowed 24 total QBPs. Athough Crosby got a sack last week, that was his only pressure. Crosby’s pressure rate has dipped below 9%.

  • Devin White has been quite the paradox this season. He’s among the leaders in tackles (80), is one of the lowest grade LBs according to PFF (40.7) but is one of two linebackers to play 100% of the snaps. The Raiders don’t have any depth to take him off the field. Until something changes, White is a weekly LB1.

  • Jeremy Chinn has 33 tackles over the last 4 weeks. He has a decent matchup with the Broncos, and just allowed 7 tackles to Jalen Pitre. Chinn is shaping up to be a DB2 this week with bye weeks.

  • Nik Bonitto now has three games without a sack, and has been relatively held in check. He has a 14.1% pressure rate and a 16.2% win rate over the last three weeks with 2 QB hits. Bonitto should get off the schneid this week. He’ll draw Stone Forsythe for his matchup. He’s allowed 3 sacks in the last 4 weeks. I’d start him this week.

  • Jonathon Cooper has a decent o-line matchup with DJ Glaze. Glaze has been decent over the last few weeks, including a game with an 80.8 pass block grade. Overall this season, he has a 68.1 grade and has allowed 17 total QBPs, including 4 over the last few weeks. Cooper has 4.5 sacks over the last four games with a 15% pressure rate and 18% win rate. He’s another I’d start as a DL3.

  • I like Zach Allen’s matchup over Dylan Parham. Allen has 6 QB hits over the last three weeks and has sacks in 5 straight games. Parham hasn’t allowed a sack since Week 3, but has allowed 4 QB hits and 16 total QBPs. I think Allen could be a menace for Parham this week.

  • Alex Singleton is a must-start, but I’m not so sure about Dre Greenlaw just yet. Yes, he was productive over 27 snaps, and it does look like he’s ramping up, but it’s slowly. He got 37% of the snaps last week, so he could see 50% this week. He’s a risky LB4/5 in deeper leagues.

  • Talanoa Hufanga is second on the team in tackles (61) and has 16 over the last two weeks with 2 defended passes. The Raiders are allowing just over 12 tackles/gm to the safety position.

  • Jahdae Barron saw the highest snaps of the season this past week (34) and played mostly outside., but it looks like there’s a rotation with him and Abrams-Draine.
